Where you are standing

I’m working on different approaches to these ideas of making connections across cultures.

Here is tool for your own use. It is not a test to be scored. You don’t have to show anyone what you do with it. You can print it out to save for future reference if you want.
(You might need to click on the document with the RIGHT mouse button, then a menu appears, including PRINT).

What it can do is help identify where you are in this journey to learn about another culture. And something very specific that you can do to move yourself forward at each step that applies to you.

There are ten statements that you can ask yourself about your life.

Here is the first example, a statement about how much time you have spent reading versus being present. If that applies to you, the paragraph label “This Month” has a suggestion for a change you could make in your life that might move you past “Why this isn’t working.”
